News from Bloom

Summer 2026

Welcome to the Bloom Community!

To the many new local providers, colleagues, and community members who have recently joined our mailing list—welcome. We know how busy your days are and how crowded your inbox can get. We respect your time, which is why we only send these updates a few times a year. You can expect brief, highly relevant emails sharing clinical resources, practice updates, and tools to help streamline your referrals.

Here is what is happening at Bloom Psychology Services this summer:

Introducing Bloom’s Adult ADHD Clinic

We are incredibly excited to announce the official launch of our specialized Adult ADHD Clinic! We recognized a growing need in our community for targeted, efficient evaluations for adults who are seeking answers exclusively for attention and focus concerns.

This new pathway is designed specifically for clients aged 18 and older, offering a streamlined, fast-tracked evaluation process. For clients requiring assessment for a wider range of complex, co-occurring conditions, we continue to offer our standard comprehensive diagnostic testing.

Summer Executive Functioning (EF) Skills Program

With the school year wrapping up, now is the perfect time to help students build critical organizational habits before the fall. Dr. Elle Burkhart is currently enrolling students in our summer Executive Functioning Skills Program. This structured, targeted support is ideal for students who need to strengthen their task initiation, working memory, and time management skills in a low-pressure summer environment.

  • Flexible: Weekly or biweekly sessions

  • Short-Term: Designed to take only 4-6 sessions total

  • Actionable: Includes practical tools and handouts for home

We’ll help your clients get set up for a smoother, more confident, and less stressful school year. Clients may sign up directly from our Appointment Request page - no formal referral required!

Growing Our Team: Welcome Dr. Serratos!

This August, we are thrilled to officially welcome Dr. Carissa Serratos to the Bloom family as a Postdoctoral Fellow! Dr. Serratos brings a wealth of expertise in comprehensive, trauma-informed psychological assessment across the lifespan, as well as therapeutic support for children and teens.

With a passion for neuro-affirming, strength-based care, she specializes in supporting neurodivergent individuals—particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD—who present with internalizing concerns such as anxiety, depression, and traumatic stress.

Dr. Serratos will provide individual therapy for ages 6-18, family therapy, parent consultation, and assessment services. She will begin accepting appointments for new clients in late July!

Behind the Scenes: Our Team Retreat

We believe that providing exceptional care starts with a strong, collaborative team. This past May, our entire staff stepped away from the clinic for our team retreat in Brown County (see photo below!). We spent the time connecting, reflecting on our clinical practices, and brainstorming ways to make our patient experience even better. It is a privilege to work alongside a team so deeply dedicated to supporting our community's mental health!

Ready to Connect?

Whether you have a specific patient case to discuss or simply want to learn more about our testing resources, we would love to hear from you.

Send an email to info@bloompsychologyservices.com to set up a time for our team to connect with yours.
