More About Me
Beginning August 2026, I am thrilled to join Bloom as a Postdoctoral Fellow, providing therapy for individuals between the ages of 6 to 18 years, as well as comprehensive assessment for individuals in early childhood to adulthood. My goal is to integrate a trauma-informed and autism-informed perspective into assessment and therapy to help children, teens, and their families grow, feel supported, and thrive.
My expertise is treating individuals on the autism spectrum who present with internalizing concerns such as anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and traumatic stress. I also work with individuals with other neurodevelopmental disorders, including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and intellectual disabilities, with a focus on supporting the development of emotion regulation and social communication skills.
I am passionate about shifting the focus away from deficit-based or “defiant” labels; instead, I view each child through a neuro-affirming, strength-based lens, working closely with families to understand the underlying causes of behavior. Through my graduate training and clinical experiences, I have observed the growth and confidence children and teens develop when they feel truly understood. My services include assessment, therapy, parent consultation, and family therapy.
In addition to my work with children, teens, and families, I am a strong advocate for the broader educational system. My research and professional background focus on equipping public school educators and special education teachers with trauma-informed practices. By providing collaborative, capacity-building consultation, I empower educators to increase their self-efficacy, prioritize their well-being, and build stronger mental health supports for their students.
I am excited to be part of the Bloom family and to support our shared mission of providing meaningful, purposeful care that promotes positive change.
