We know that beginning a psychological evaluation can feel like a big step. This video explains what happens after your intake appointment and how our team will guide you through each stage of the process with clarity and care.

Our Testing Process

Review your testing plan

  • You’ll receive an email with a link to view your personalized testing plan in our secure client portal

  • If the link has expired, you can request a new link here

  • Your testing plan will include the total cost of the evaluation; please note that every evaluation has a self-pay cost

  • Once you’ve reviewed and electronically signed your testing plan, we’ll move forward with scheduling

Schedule your testing and feedback appointments

  • We’ll reach out to you by email to schedule your testing and feedback appointment

  • Testing may be split into multiple appointments depending on the scope of testing and the client

  • Your feedback appointment is the session where you’ll review the test results with your psychologist

Complete your rating scales

  • Before your testing appointment, you’ll receive an email with links to complete online forms called rating scales

  • These are an essential part of your evaluation

Attend your testing appointment

  • Testing is often completed in 2 - 3 hours, and may take 6 - 8 hours for complex evaluations

Manage your payments

  • You’ll receive invoices by email and can pay easily through our online client portal

  • Insurance Clients:

    • Every evaluation includes a self-pay portion

    • Self-pay portion of your testing is due one business day before your testing appointment

    • Remaining balance is due three business days before your feedback appointment

    • Please note you will receive an invoice for your remaining balance before we have submitted a claim for testing to your insurance

  • Self-Pay Clients:

    • 50% of the total cost of testing is due one business day before your testing appointment

    • Remaining balance is due three days before your feedback appointment

  • If your account balance is unpaid three business days before your feedback appointment, we will reach out to you to reschedule this appointment after your balance is paid in full

Attend your feedback appointment

  • Your psychologist will review your results with you, explaining the testing results and providing recommendations for next steps

Receive your written report

  • You’ll receive a detailed report through our client portal summarizing your results, diagnoses, and individualized recommendations

  • We can share the report with a doctor, therapist, or school with your permission

Complete our New Client Request Form to set up an appointment.

After you complete the form, you’ll receive an email from us via SimplePractice (our EMR) to setup your Client Portal access and complete our intake forms online.

Once you’ve completed all the required forms, we’ll email you to schedule an initial appointment.
